Sky Walker

Sky Walker is a rock band from Oxnard California. <a href="spotify:artist:4Xoa92H7vtRtvfS6gtHlzf" data-name="Richard Galiguis">Richard Galiguis</a> (Guitar) and <a href="spotify:artist:7DpXDzBnx6vt209Xk2j2HY" data-name="Jordan Sweeney">Jordan Sweeney</a> (Drums), formally from the band <a href="spotify:artist:6uemHdWmLEZ6lBEl2tavw8" data-name="Greenroom">Greenroom</a> started writing songs for Sky Walker. They recruited bassist, Guy Espinoza, &amp; <a href="spotify:artist:4L1CwyD9RHa6sDx42HPEpk" data-name="Yul Vianzon">Yul Vianzon</a> for Vocals. The band hit the studio in 2004 to record their full-length album. A month into recording they were noticed by producers of DC Labs, and the band shortly signed a deal with them which allowed them to spend unlimited time on the record. During the anticipation of the album, the band recorded a 2-song acoustic EP introducing fans to songs <a href="spotify:track:18k4oFNvGNJ7pUcW84eTEa" data-name="Orange and Gray (Acoustic)">Orange and Gray (Acoustic)</a> &amp; <a href="spotify:track:2QAodEK9Zw9pquxQv9qyST" data-name="Embers (Acoustic)">Embers (Acoustic)</a>. The band also needed another guitar player to be able to play live shows. The band posted an ad in a local “Guitar Center” and held auditions to find another guitarist. After many auditions, the band decided on AJ Diaz, who blew the band away in the audition. The band toured all over California and developed a huge following nationwide. In 2006, Sky Walker signed a record deal with indie label, Midnight Records but broke up before they could release another album. Galiguis is currently the guitarist for <a href="spotify:artist:2Udiv31AsrRzKJ1X6cUuu7" data-name="Vokab Kompany">Vokab Kompany</a>. <a href="spotify:artist:7DpXDzBnx6vt209Xk2j2HY" data-name="Jordan Sweeney">Jordan Sweeney</a> has released 3 solo albums and Vianzon has released some solo music as <a href="spotify:artist:1TFDhj1R5JN3piW3IWBv12" data-name="Yulboy">Yulboy</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:76tBZIspBjpO1Z2Ludy9kK" data-name="Rital Movement">Rital Movement</a>. Sky Walker has reunited during the COVID pandemic and are re-inventing and slowly re-releasing singles such as <a href="spotify:track:0JEL66P86mMmTPAl2cU49K" data-name="Orange and Gray">Orange and Gray</a>, <a href="spotify:track:4Dq6lU2HLD8alHogovDJss" data-name="Stalemate">Stalemate</a>, <a href="spotify:track:1XCii8dy1jP8KaPYfVxBtc" data-name="Spider">Spider</a> &amp; a new song <a href="spotify:track:3Q2SA8Q320PztjwIhnXjuU" data-name="Eagle&#39;s Claw">Eagle&#39;s Claw</a>.
