Skyhunter were a south London based outfit formed in 2005 by guitarist and vocalist Martin Smith. Other members were: Ian Gilbertson (guitars), Freya "Fraggle" Page (drums) and Bill Major (bass). They played mix of original material and covers of songs by the bands that influenced them. Their influences were unashamedly "classic rock" with strong hints of blues. These inspirations can be heard in the songs on their one album @Skyhunter.

Martin Smith is still active on the music circuit. He currently leads The Martin Smith Band (blues, soul and jazz) and Corazon (Santana tribute).
