Skyje is a spiritual hip-hop music artist, born in St. Louis, Missouri, and raised in Michiana.
Skyje has loved music since she was a child. At age five she fell in love with American hip-hop group, “Ghetto Boys, My Minds Playing Tricks on Me". Skyje would run to the television 📺 every time their music video played and rap the lyrics to their song word for word. Shortly after skyje fell in love with the music of the Legendary, Tupac Shakur.
Growing up poor, Skyje’s family didn't have much of anything except for music and the love and loyalty of each other.
Tupacs music strengthened Skyje in those trying times and inspired her start writing her own songs at the age of six.
Skyje is committed to inspiring others with her voice as she creates songs that are inspired by life experiences.
