Skyline Sun, originally from Australia and now based in Berlin, is a nu-jazz project that brings a fresh and groove-focused approach to jazz and improvised music. Under this musical moniker resides the talent of producer and multi-instrumentalist, Jarrah Dhyan. With his latest releases Skyline Sun has garnered significant attention from acclaimed platforms such as JazzFM UK, WorldWide FM, Soho Radio, Twisted Soul, Kalab, Vibe Rating, and FIP Radio, among others.
The Berlin scene has been a melting pot of exciting new approaches to jazz for decades now. With a group of international collaborators, Dhyan released his debut album 'Dichotomy' in May of 2024. It speaks of his perception of today’s world, as he addresses its deep-seated hypocrisy and its manipulated narratives to serve political agendas, all at the expense of those they are meant to represent. Dichotomy is a deeply introspective and compelling collection of music that encourages listeners to see past partisanship and unite in a shared understanding of the issues plaguing our society.
