Grant Gariff aka Slam Hammy started off making beats on FL Studio when he was 12 years old. By the time he was 17, he had earned enough money to invest recording equipment and began rapping for fun. Throughout his senior year of high school, he had recorded over 50 songs that were catered to his young and close knit audience of his high school. The songs were mainly poking fun at some of his peers and fellow classmates. Grant received a considerable amount of attention from his controversial rap songs but after high school, he decided to focus solely on production. After what seemed like an endless amount of failures, he decided to get back into rapping and start working with local talent and put his time and energy into branding his record label/entertainment group, “Creatives Of”.
