SLAM are a tour de force on the global Techno circuit. The duo’s unique, 6 deck, back-to-back DJ performances and explosive live sets have seen them mesmerize clubs & festivals across the world for over 3 decades.
Pioneers and innovators of the electronic music scene, Slam’s Orde Meikle and Stuart McMillan are renowned for their experience as well as their powerful, contemporary sound.
Their iconic Soma Records label boasts more than 800 releases in its 34-year history, including Daft Punk’s first singles and Slam’s own productions as well as many of today’s most cutting-edge artists.
The pair also host the legendary Pressure parties in Glasgow and have their longstanding RTM residency at the city’s Sub Club, dealing out a monthly supply of raw, hypnotic techno.
They also produce and curate the respected weekly Techno podcast, Slam Radio, which has now surpassed 600 episodes, demonstrating their continued conviction in providing an antidote to the mainstream.
Slam’s boundary bending “Flicker” EP is riding high at the start of 2025 and their first new album in over 5 years, “Dark Channel” is coming out in May 2025…….
