His YouTube channel quickly rocketed to success, gathering 150,000 subscribers over a period of 9 months. While known for his remixes, he’s branched into creating his own original music. Slater’s music has a heavy influence from alternative music. Prior to developing into a powerhouse in the remix realm, slater was a photographer and stylist. He was born Jarylun Moore, and received the nickname “slater” from his best friend in high school. The 22 year old artist currently resides in Houston and is juggling his musical success in stride
