SLAVON was formed in 1996 in the city of Coronado, San Jose, Costa Rica.
The name Slavon is derived from the Spanish word Eslabon (link) which explains the role of every member in the band, like individual links forming a chain.
In 2001 they released their first album "Just a Dream"
They've been actively playing locally and have opened for many International major acts.
Keeping faithful to their melodic style of metal, their latest album Oracion Para Cain is on sale now. Recorded and mixed in Costa Rica and mastered in Denmark by Jacob Hansen (Primal Fear, Volbeat, Pretty Maids)
