Slay God is an independent artist originating from the midst of rural northwestern PA. From the very beginning, he has been determined to prove to people that not only can he record his own music, but that he can show the growth in his work by himself as well. Slay has been making music since 2016 but ever since 2023, his foot has been slamming on the gas, dropping well over 100 songs and multiple projects. It's stated by Slay himself he has close to 1500 unreleased songs ready to drop whenever. That number is only increasing. Slay's purpose for making music is not for a message, but for people to just escape reality for a moment and bop their head. In Slay's words, "Life is too short to let stress consume your well being, when I put these songs on I be smiling and dancing and sh**. Even just that 1 minute or 2 of one song be changing my mindset. It gets rid of that negativity and gives me a better outlook on myself and life all around."
