Consumed by the never-ending search for life’s answers, the artist opens the door to their own creation. Picture: a ritual gone wrong. A permanent division. In an attempt to vanquish inner turmoil, one has become two. SLEEEEPA x VSN is the irreversible estrangement of what we love and what we hate, forever forced to live at odds and on the impossible quest to find peace, but instead deciding to create our own version of peace, dancing between realities and dreams.
Tap into the vision and prepare for a journey of exploration. With an everchanging identity, SLEEEEPA x VSN exemplifies experimental pop through bubbly tracks such as “Fairytrap” prod. Mogley Miroma, and in-your-face numbers like “M.E.A.T.”. Using music as the medium to explore themes of queerness, identity, mental health, self-expression, and more, the singer/producer first released their debut EP “Campfire” in August of 2020, and went on to release various self-produced and collaborative projects.
Born Lisa Sepa in Yonkers, New York, SLEEEEPA x VSN is the consequence of childhood imagination. Writing songs as young as six years old, music has been a center point of their identity. Now at 23, this artist tempts you to submit yourself to raw emotion and experience. They work in collaboration with their romantic partner/videographer BigHijack to create a multi-media fantasy world, where you are invited to get lost, and to find comfort the real world does not always offer us.
