Rapper/producer ‘SLEEPLESS BOI’ spent his childhood in small, isolated communities throughout the NT before relocating to Cairns, QLD. It was there that he would be introduced to rap/EDM/Pop and Alternative music which birthed a raging fire of creativity.

In 2020, after a debilitating breakup, he relocated to Melbourne where he spent 2 years adapting, refining, & honing music while locked in a 3-bedroom hostel, with 12 housemates. During this, he found a welcoming community within a discord group called “Melbourne Made It” where he met ‘Trae Tuohy’ (his engineer), ‘YNG Martyr,’ ‘Jay Zayat,’ ‘Yargii,’ ‘Riverine,’ ‘Drest,’ ‘Softend,’ ‘Kill Carter’ & many more upcoming artists.

In 2022 he released his first 4 singles, displaying uniquely energetic production that he paired with deeply emotional lyrics that touch on extremely personal topics such as break-ups, self-doubt, depression, anxiety, mental illness & ADHD. In 2023 he plans to push his boundaries as an artist by releasing a selection of deeply personal songs that he created while confined to a remote cabin in Qld for the final three months of 2022.
