Kevin "SlickMobb" Gonzalez was born in 1995, As a child in Hayward, California with his family. The Bay Area based rapper's inspiration to create music sparked when he was a teenager--rapping next to his good friend, Ulises Rodriguez, who unfortunately, later passed in 2013. Although the sudden loss of his friend was a huge set back to the goals that they had set together, Kevin held on strong to the drive that was initiated and used it to move forward with his dream to make music.
Throughout the years, SlickMobb continued writing music on his own and freestyled as a hobby with his neighborhood friends, but was always hesitant about recording and exposing his music. In 2015, he got incarcerated and spent most of his leisure time creating lyrics and presenting his rhymes to other inmates. Being in prison opened his eyes and made him realize that he had potential and talent. Once he got released in 2018, he formed what is now known to be, "Hot Boy Mafia", next to his friend/colleague; Carlos "Young Spookz" Nunez and Jonathan "Young SG" Ruiz.
After a year passed, the music group now also part of BayRecon Entertainment, their plan is to show people through their music how the gang lifestyle is genuinely portrayed to be. 𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒏𝒆𝒘𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆, “Mobb $hit”--𝒂𝒗𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒅𝒊𝒈𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒔.
