Slim Jin Wit Di Ting is an Afro Reggae/Dancehall artist from Toronto, Canada. Formally one half of the former duo group Island Konnectz. Slim was born in the small Caribbean island of St Vincent and the Grenadines and later moved to Canada in 2004. His early years of high school was when he started making music, by creating beats and recording songs from reading and researching videos off of YouTube.
His early years of high school were the beginnings of his passion into making music. Frequent visits on YouTube to research videos on creating beats, recording songs and mixing, he quickly acquired a great skill and hunger for music. The love of creating was as far as Slim thought about music back then, until friends, family and strangers told him just how much they admired and enjoyed his music.
