Sling Dadz

Born in Toronto, Ontario raised in the (Trethewey Drive) a public housing complex on Jane Street, Sling Dadz found himself surrounded by social issues of the area that would later become inspiration for his accolade in music. Born as Marlon Morgridge, "Sling Dadz" became a rapper/ hip hop artist since he became a teenager. Slings had the opportunity to witness a few childhood friends who both were in rap groups and was signed to record deals, which provided the chance for Slings to bare witness how the Canadiuan music Industry operates. Sling Dadz and the M.O.D crew was making noise in the underground scene in Toronto hip hop performing at numerous venues such as: El Mocambo, Lee's Palace, Chocolate City and other in and outside of the GTA. After years of devotion, and hard work, some of the members decided to move on from music to do other things, so in 2007 Sling Dadz and business partner developed and created the independent music label Street Code Entertainment Canada. Sling Dadz released 5 singles with one being "I'm from Jane" & the other one is the "I'm from Jane Remix" which gain alot of attention across Canada as well was featured on the #1 station on television for music entertainment "Much Music". Sling Dadz has numerous singles and been featured on many projects by other artists.
