Masato Komatsu started his solo project as a DJ / producer and released his first album in 2006. “Caveman Boogie” made
his name in the club scene, spreading like wildfire from Europe into the rest of the world. With his sworn friend Ryo
Kawahara joining him, the duo released “The Right Way” which sold out immediately. Six 7”vinyl releases were made from 2018
to 2020 – again, all sold out immediately. As for remixes – “Struggle For Pride / Make a Rainbow (Slowly Remix)” was selected as
one of the best songs of 2020 on Gilles Peterson’s show on BBC Radio 6. With reggae at the core of his roots, Masato’s eclectic
sound making is highly praised, and consists of a mixture of genres with futuristic visions to serve a worldwide audience.
