SLUMBER. is a four-piece outfit from Essex via Liverpool, formed in September 2018.
Their debut EP Empty Sounds for Thoughtful Minds, was released in March 2019, and a few months later the energetic single, Lace Up Your Boots followed. These releases served as the first taste of the bands unique blend of genres alongside a more traditional indie rock sound.
SLUMBER. returned with their second EP, How Can I Change the World When I Can't Change Your Mind, in January 2021. The EP represented a bold progression in sound for the group, as they moved away from their traditional indie rock roots and began to experiment with darker instrumentation.
Unfortunately, as a result of the global pandemic and the departure of one of the group’s members, SLUMBER. were unable to play their second EP live, and have remained mostly dormant since.
The band returned in October 2022, with a fresh line up, fresh music and fresh ambition.
SLUMBER. is Asher Courtney (Vocals, Guitar), Jamie Haines (Guitar, Keys), Tom McGuire (Drums), and James Coston (Bass).
A New Beginning.
