Sly Faux is the bold and distinctive, now Melbourne-based musical venture, of Gregory Sianas. Drawing from the combined roots of techno, ambient and electronica, one struggles to designate this project into an exact lane. Constantly determined to not follow the status quo in an over saturated musical climate, it quickly becomes apparent, Sly Faux is the producer's producer. His works are precisely dynamic, mesmerising and diamond cut – They are engineered to exact standards for the largest of stages and most demanding of artists. Think analogue soundscapes and unruly synth work, reimagined and remastered for the modern day.


His decade long discography is testament to this – collaborations with Fur Coat and The Presets and releases on MOOD Records, Universal Music Australia and Renaissance Records are all but a glimpse into his distinctively multifaceted studio focus. His ever-changing soundscape has now culminated in the completion of The Vangelist; a profound and unflinching nine track studio album, finding its forever home on Nicole Moudaber’s MOOD Records. Every record, meticulously orbiting his exact approach to studio and DJ work alike.
2021 marks the birth of Ethos for Sly Faux. A determined approach to bringing the intricacies of his studio works to the live stage. Coupled with the inception of his label DIVISIONS, this prolific and extensive producer now finds himself ready and determined as ever for the main floor.
