Sly-Fi is a Canadian collective that melds elements of jazz, funk, and instrumental hip-hop. The result is something that is both familiar and fresh.
Formed in 2022, Sly-Fi is led by producer and multi-instrumentalist Adam McLellan (Snug), with Charles Urich on drums. Sly-Fi regularly collaborates with other vocalists and instrumentalists.
The collective released their debut EP, “Crypto Bro”, in April of 2023, featuring Connor Wilde on trumpet and flugelhorn. It has since been nominated for Music Nova Scotia's Jazz Recording of the Year.
