The boundaries of electronic music are being pushed every day, and <a href="spotify:artist:08otSSDo2Uitcy3co9VpzD" data-name="smellingsalts">smellingsalts</a> is helping with that push with every new release. smellingsalts takes the nostalgia of past times and manipulates it through intense IDM , drum & bass and downtempo songs that blossom in their own unique ways. The true birth of smellingsalts begins in 2025, with a biweekly single release that eventually culminated in the compilation project <a href="spotify:album:6UqNLRzuyxbB9GN5hGTXSp" data-name="VOL.1">VOL.1</a> in the middle of June. While it’s only the beginning for the IDM artist, there’s a lot more to come - including a debut album slated to release in January of 2026.
