In 2004 Silas Pollard also known as Smigg Dirtee received great reviews creating a buzz off a mixtape called &quot;High School Dropout“ by taking all of the instrumentals from Kanye&#39;s &quot;College Dropout&quot; and rapping over them.
Smigg dropped his 1st official solo album in 2005 titled &quot;God Made Dirt&quot; it featured The Game, Yukmouth, Clyde Carson, Frontline, Mistah Fab, Turf Talk, A-Wax &amp;amp;amp;amp;amp; More. The album was nominated for a BARS Award, a big award ceremony in the bay area, (Bay Area Rap Scene). Soon after he released, hosted and appeared on many mixtapes with DJ Kay Slay, DJ Fresh, DJ Rah2k, Mixtape Mobb, Clinton Sparks, Demolition Men, DJ Vlad, DJ Fingaz, DJ Warrior and More. Creating a bigger buzz, also through the years made appearances on albums by X-Raided, Casual, Max B, A-Wax, Loon, Layzie Bone, Mobb Deep, Pastor Troy, AZ, Keith Murray, Napoleon (Outlawz), Mac Dre, Mya, Hollow Tip, Messy Marv, Ginuwine, Twista and Many More.. also making dozens of appearances on SiriusXM, on Eminem&#39;s station Shade45 with Rude Jude on &quot;The All Out Show&quot;
