Ciao! I’m Simone from Cremona (Italy). I play 3 instruments (drums, bass, guitar) and sing, and since today’s technology allows anyone to be a producer, I wondered: why not record a few songs myself?
Well, it was a great idea. I’ve always been super curious about how many different and new cool sounds I could make, so I started experimenting.
It all began with an iPhone and garageband, with which I recorded my first two songs: <a href="spotify:album:4hFdHhD4Wvu4nO1TPYhCbm" data-name="Home Alone">Home Alone</a> and <a href="spotify:track:4EoRe7MHZDmz5MfXhslKOf" data-name="Little Bolder">Little Bolder</a> . The second one was, like 90% of every song ever written, about a breakup and finding ways to make a new, better version of myself.
The blend of lo-fi hip hop and indie/emo was key for the success I received on Soundcloud.
It motivated me to make more music, and I eventually ended up writing 10+ songs.
Two years after the start of this project, I’m remixing and remastering every song on Soundcloud plus a few new ones that will make the album "Old Is New Again".
