Having produced for Korede Bello, Young Jonn, Ycee,Lil Kesh and more, Smyley (Abdulqudus Omobolaji Ajenifuja)From Lagos Nigeria is an all round artist, Song Writer, Producer, Photographer, and he attributes this need to learn all parts of the music process, to be self reliant from his experience as an orphan. He comes from a family of musicians, nephew to the late Nigerian music icon and Legend Sound Sultan and hopes to follow in his footsteps.
January 2022 he was recognised by Jeremiah Asiah on BBC 1 Extra as an artist to look out for as well as in 2020 when his single “Beautiful” was placed on BBC 1 Xtra Africa 360 house music Playlist. ‘For You’ a single from his 2021 EP ‘Love Sex & Magic’ has reached over 100k streams.
His sweet vocals and music style is a fusion of different genres from Afrobeats, Amapiano, Hip Hop, Funk, EDM, house music to create an Afro fusion of various melodies.
