Snidee grew up surrounded by music, soaking in reggae, rock, and hip-hop from the moment he could talk. By seven, he was recording covers on his karaoke machine, laying the first bricks of what would become a lifelong obsession with sound. At twelve, he was already performing in talent competitions, taking second place one year and coming back to win the next — singing Ricky Martin in fluent Spanish.
As the years rolled on, Snidee began stacking wins at competitions across the country, sharpening his voice and stage presence. Then came the rise of UK Grime in the early 2000s — artists like Kano, Wiley, Lethal Bizzle, and Crazy Titch lit a new fire in him. At fifteen, armed with a USB mic and a copy of Cool Edit on his mum’s computer, he started recording his own bars and carving out his sound.
By 2008, Snidee joined Leicester collective DSM, already known for their viral track, and brought a commercial edge that helped take the group on tour alongside Young Nate, Tinchy Stryder, N-Dubz, Skepta, Cascada, and more.
After a few years away, Snidee’s back — refined, relentless, and ready to make his mark once again.
