Snowdrop

snowdrop is a Japanese pop / rock band. Formed in Tokyo in the spring of 2021. Released 1st single "Asuwosagashini" on July 22, 2021 .The members are Misaki Denda (vocals), Yuki Kobayashi (violin), and Toshiaki Kaito (guitar bass). Opera singer Denda sings songs written by Kaito, who is knowledgeable in popular music, movies, and literature, and plays by violinist Kobayashi based on classical music. There is also a theme that focuses more on melody than lyrics, and does not do any cover at all.
The 1st album "Snowdrop" was released on March 15, 2024. It is an album with a total of 10 songs, from the most pop "Tomorrow Is A Long Time" to the thorough and simple "The Rover".

snowdropは日本のポップ・ロックバンド。2021年の春に東京で結成。2021年7月22日に1stシングルの『明日を探しに』をリリース 。メンバーは傳田実咲（ヴォーカル）、小林由季（ヴァイオリン）、海渡敏晃（ギター・ベース）の3人で構成されている。ポピュラーミュージック・映画・文学に博識のある海渡が作った楽曲をオペラ歌手の傳田が歌い、クラシック音楽をベースとするヴァイオリニストの小林が演奏するというスタイル。歌詞よりもメロディーに重点を置いていて、カバーは一切やらないというテーマも掲げている。
1stアルバム『Snowdrop』を2024年3月15日にリリース。最高にポップな『Tomorrow Is A Long Time』から徹底して素朴な『The Rover』まで全10曲、良曲揃いのアルバムとなっている。
