Sob Stories is a Bay Area-based power pop combo formed in 2016 by singer/songwriter/guitarist Joel Cusumano (DSTVV, Cocktails) and drummer Phil Lantz (Neutrals, Chime School), bassist Owen Kelley (Sleepy Sun), and guitarist Rob Good (Warm Soda, Jesus Sons). Their self-titled EP was released in 2017 by Emotional Response Records. Their debut full-length was released in 2022 by Dandy Boy Records. That same year, bassist Ray Seraphin (RE Seraphin, Talkies) and guitarist Alex Even (White Rabbits) replaced Kelley and Good.
