Sodey Mac

Sodey Mac is a singer-songwriter from New Jersey, living in Berlin, singing wherever is possible. She combines her classically trained vocal and piano technique developed during her conservatory studies, with jazz and hip hop influences which surrounded her growing up in a suburb of Philadelphia, USA. After completing an opera performance degree, she spent time in London, and eventually landed in Berlin. Her moody, honest lyrics reflect a life lived with a painfully open heart, in a constant state of curiosity. Sodey Mac wishes to explore the space and similarities between genres, embrace her slow, lo-fi vibe as an act of resistance to fast past modernity, and encourage others to fully feel their feelings by example of sharing her deeply personal lyrics.
