Sofia Nunzia is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter who lived in North Carolina for most of her life before relocating to New England. Her music style is influenced by 1990s country music and classic Motown and pop.
Sofia has been participating in songwriting training programs since age 12, including at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, TN, and Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. In 2021, at age 14, Sofia released her debut single, <a href="spotify:album:2sK3x2tDGGuE3R3HUmW3gv" data-name="Do or Die">Do or Die</a>, which was followed by <a href="spotify:track:0vKqDgTYsN4FJGEJjHmKUb" data-name="That Girl Is Perfect">That Girl Is Perfect</a> in 2022. Her first EP, a 4-song collection titled “Lily”, will be released on May 30th. In college, Sofia plans to pursue both music and science, with plans for a future career as a "singer-scientist".
