Soft Pine is an independent indie pop band from Bangkok, Thailand, formed in 2018 by
four college friends. Their music blends soothing, groovy, and dreamy textures—perfect
for a cozy day, or whenever a touch of rock ’n’ roll energy is needed.
At the heart of Soft Pine’s sound is a gentle storytelling approach, capturing fleeting
moments in time and place. Rooted in indie pop and rock, their music is laced with hints
of psychedelia and jazz, all wrapped in the warm, nostalgic embrace of analog home
studio aesthetics.
Between 2019 and 2023, the band released four albums that drew international
attention, landing them on stages at Tokyo’s BIKN Shibuya Festival and Bangkok’s
Maho Rasop Festival. From 2023 to 2025, Soft Pine toured across Asia, bringing their
mellow yet magnetic sound to music festivals and new audiences.
Earlier this year, they joined DYGL’s Japan tour as an opening act, closing out the run
with a performance at the iconic Liquidroom in Tokyo. Now, fresh off their own Japan
tour and with recording wrapped, Soft Pine is ready to share their next chapter—new
music, new stories, and new soundscapes—coming to your ears soon.
