Soft Power is Helsinki-based jazz-rock sextet. Their rough sound has strong ingredients of jazz and free expression. The sound could be related to rock that founds its origins in late-'60s and early '70s and clearly identifies the free form elements that both psychedelic rock and jazz share and deliver them with a performance that is subtle and organic. The movable sonic textures of the twin saxophones and flutes draw beautiful and ethereal landscapes.
