softcoresoft is a Montreal-based DJ, music producer and cultural organizer. Her sonic aesthetic fuses acid techno, electro, 90s trance and jungle.
softcoresoft's local performances have included the city’s best electronic music platforms including MUTEK, Piknic Électronik, Exposé Noir, Homegrown Harvest, Igloofest, Stereo nightclub, Pop Montréal, LIP, Datcha and countless raves.
From an early point in her DJ trajectory, softcoresoft has been a Discwoman collaborator, playing at their events in both Montreal and Brooklyn (Technofeminism at Bossa Nova Civic Club) and releasing a Discwoman mix in February 2018.
Internationally, softcoresoft has performed in Berlin (Buttons, Weeeirdos), Paris (Possession x Boiler Room), Barcelona (LAUT), London (Corsica Studios), Detroit (Marble Bar), Düsseldorf (Golzheim), Ciel's 'Work In Progress' party in Toronto and many more.
