sokusen spawned in 2020 from experimenting with short and aggressive ragecore, industrial, and trap metal inspired music. With an emphasis on catharsis and rage, his songs are meant to be a kick in the gut and a release all at once.
The artist behind it all -- Eric Landry, started his roots in industrial metal. Through hearing the versatile and angry sounds of modern trap rap influenced punk from LA, and trap metal from around the world, he has expanded his musical expression. After work hours he was able to record these visceral and angry vocals over intense and electronic Russian trap beats in an isolated sound booth, sometimes into the early hours of the morning.
