Sol Flamme

CT musician Sol Flamme began his discography by releasing the <a href="spotify:album:6jQAhIeFoaZWfRKBy5wMXx" data-name="After Dark">After Dark</a> EP. <a href="spotify:album:6jQAhIeFoaZWfRKBy5wMXx" data-name="After Dark">After Dark</a> was recorded in his dorm room, on an iPhone mic. Despite his low budget equipment at the time, Sol delivered an EP with atmosphere and a modern flow.


Born Daniel Lee from the suburbs of Connecticut, Sol grew up playing the piano and guitar. In his early stages experimenting with music, Sol listened to musicians such as <a href="spotify:artist:5INjqkS1o8h1imAzPqGZBb" data-name="Tame Impala">Tame Impala</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:3hozsZ9hqNq7CoBGYNlFTz" data-name="OK Go">OK Go</a> , and <a href="spotify:artist:3Sz7ZnJQBIHsXLUSo0OQtM" data-name="Mac DeMarco">Mac DeMarco</a> . After discovering Lofi Hip Hop through musicians such as <a href="spotify:artist:3MZsBdqDrRTJihTHQrO6Dq" data-name="Joji">Joji</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:15UsOTVnJzReFVN1VCnxy4" data-name="XXXTENTACION">XXXTENTACION</a>, Sol was inspired to delve into creating his own music.


Sol Flamme&#39;s most recent LP, titled <a href="spotify:track:4PKQiyTitnPn19MKoYqsk5" data-name="Interstellar">Interstellar</a> , was his second project release during the year of 2019. Taking inspiration from producers such as <a href="spotify:artist:2MsUUVfpIKr7xtl0l9DsEG" data-name="Maaly Raw">Maaly Raw</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3x3jSlhyv5CiCZDZlaTq0M" data-name="Pi’erre Bourne">Pi’erre Bourne</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:0iEtIxbK0KxaSlF7G42ZOp" data-name="Metro Boomin">Metro Boomin</a>, Sol produced all 11 songs by himself. Spending 100+ hours in the studio producing, recording, and mixing, Sol finally delivered a long awaited 36 minute album full of ambient, spacey, and melodic vibes, all over Trap/Hip Hop rhythms. The <a href="spotify:album:76s6mrQTZhQuQPofnDVf38" data-name="Interstellar">Interstellar</a> LP tells the story of a lost individual, who feels as though they are drifting alone through a void. Speaking on issues such as dropping out of school, failed relationships, and drug overuse, Sol comes to terms with his loneliness throughout the <a href="spotify:track:4PKQiyTitnPn19MKoYqsk5" data-name="Interstellar">Interstellar</a> LP in hopes to better those who listen to his music.
