Formed by the collaborative partnership between songwriter/producer Rob “El Tato Jimenez” and YouTube personality Garbriela Bañuelos, Sol Pacifica entered the Southern California Latin Music scene in 2015 with the release of their debut EP “No Pos Wow”. The EP featured the bands unique blend of Latin and Afro Caribbean rhythms infused with catchy hooks and pop songwriting sensibilities. The Latin pop quartet including drummer Richard Nuño and bassist Chris Torrez spent much of 2015 and 2016 performing around California and the west coast in support of their debut EP. After a 3 year hiatus which saw the personal growth of all band members, Sol Pacifica put the finishing touches on the bands follow up EP “Baila Conmigo” released May 1st 2020. Determined to continue where they left off, 2021 may bring a long awaited full length release. For now “Baila Conmigo” will satisfy fans of the groups trademark Afro/Latin sound.
