Sol Pereyra is an Argentine singer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter with more than 20 years of experience, recognized for her fresh, bold, and borderless style. Founder in 2002 of the group Los Cocineros, with whom she recorded seven studio albums, she launched her solo career in 2009 and established a unique voice in Latin American music, releasing six acclaimed albums: BLABLABLA (2009), COMUNMIXTA (2011), TIRAME AGUA (2014), PRENDETE (2017), RESISTO/EXISTO (2020), and LA PELÍCULA (2023).
With powerful lyrics and a sound that blends pop, electronic, and folk roots, Sol has performed on major stages and at festivals across Latin America, the U.S., Canada, and Europe, bringing her energy to international audiences. She has collaborated with renowned artists such as Julieta Venegas, Kevin Johansen, Los Caligaris, La Dame Blanche, Los Mirlos, Jorge Serrano, Muchachito, Sara Hebe, and Flavia Coelho, among many others.
She has been nominated four times for the Gardel Awards and is the author of “Nadie Te Preguntó”, which became an emblematic anthem for youth across Latin America. Her work stands out for its creative freedom and fearless sonic exploration, blending guitars, beats, horns, samples, and synthesizers alongside an unmistakable voice. Today, Sol Pereyra is one of the most vibrant and influential artists on the contemporary scene.
