In the winter of 2012, three friends met up in a kitchen one night. A few hours later they had made their first arrangement and with that, started a new genre in Swedish vocal music. For ten years, Solala have been the shining beacon of the Swedish vocal scene. With their unique arrangements and dazzling vocals, the trio’s videos from the kitchen table have spread like wildfire across social media.
In the video series “Solala Sessions” they have visited many of Sweden’s greatest artists in their homes for musical collaborations, the likes of Tommy Körberg, Magnus Carlsson and Helen Sjöholm. Nationwide tours around Sweden have followed in recent years, as well as appearances on giants of Swedish television such as Allsång på Skansen and as a middle act at Melodifestivalen 2018 for the final with Helen Sjöholm.
