Solar Nineties are an indie rock five-piece riding on the wave of creative energy in Margate, writing Britpop influenced material featuring melodic vocals, chiming guitars and a driving rhythm section.
Following on from their BBC Introducing recognised singles 'If Looks Could Kill' and 'Friend of a Friend', Solar Nineties have recently been featured live on The Kent Sessions for BBC Radio Kent and are set to release their new single 'Seen It All Before' on Friday 7th September 2018. Produced by Robert Wilks and mastered by Kristofer Harris, 'Seen It All Before' was recorded at the renowned Squarehead Studios in Newington, Kent.
Solar Nineties have played at numerous venues across London and the South East, including The Forum (Royal Tunbridge Wells), Nambucca (London), Dreamland (Margate) and the Leas Cliff Hall (Folkestone), with an upcoming slot at Wheels and Fins Festival in Joss Bay on Sunday 9th September 2018 (headlined by The Libertines).
