Solara

Singer/songwriter Solara Leah Noriega, aka  Solara, had a unique upbringing. She grew up in Los Angeles, was home schooled and traveled around the world with her parents as a child. Today Solara’s sound is inspired by her many visits to Haiti and her passion for their people. Her first taste of musical success happened in Haiti where she performed, “Relax” a song she wrote with J Perry, live on Tropical TV which became a hit in over 150 countries. From that moment on she has forged a mix of Caribbean soul with modern beats. 
Solara credits her songwriting and singing skills to “growing up without a TV.” Music became her main form of entertainment during the family’s nightly jam sessions when the neighbors would come over, grab an instrument and get involved. “That gave me an ear, taught me how to improvise, how to sing on the spot, how to write a song..I’m super grateful for growing up that way, I wouldn’t change it.” Solara has written for many artists and worked with Grammy winning and nominated producers such as Mex Manny, Jason Goldman and Stylolive.
