A young voice from an old city. Solasta are the latest band to emerge from the Glasgow’s one-of-a-kind music scene. Inspired by the same buildings and stone-paved streets, and playing in the same iconic venues that have shaped generations of Scottish musicians, they blend new influences from their diverse range of backgrounds, that span across the UK and Ireland, to forge a sound that is singular and their own.

The band’s first single “Fading away” was released in February of 2025 and is a sign of what is to come; sincere music with a youthful, beating pulse. If you find yourself in Glasgow, half cut and in need of some entertaining there’s fair chance Solasta are playing and now you know, there is no excuse not to go see them.
