Solely for HIM is the indie worship project of David Lakerveld, the main songwriter, singer/instrumentalist, producer behind the songs. The project began by posting songs on YouTube - with the simple wish to create original worship songs for the sole glory of Jesus Christ, as well as being a blessing to the Church and a testimony to the world. That initial vision is still what motivates David to compose and publish his songs. From simple prayer-like piano versions to theologically rich pieces of music, David strives to create unique and creative worship. He has published mutliple singles in English, German and recently released his debut EP, in Swiss German. Looking forward, David’s focus lays on English songs.
