Solimano

Gonzalo Solimano is an artist, producer, curator and cultural advocate whose career spans more than 20 years of live performances, record releases, events production and commitment with developing the electronic music and digital arts scene of Buenos Aires, Argentina.


Passionate about technology and modular synthesizers, his studio is his favorite place in the world. He enjoys spending time there with fellow musicians, surrounded by sound systems, experimenting, and learning new ways of working every day.


House music was the sound of his teenage years in the nineties, where he gave his first steps as a DJ. With the passing of time, he evolved and started incorporating different genres, from techno to world music, establishing his unique vision and style.


Gonzalo is the founder and director of Unlock Production Company, local leader in events and audiovisual content. During 2016 and 2017, he was curator of the CCK Music and Digital Art Space. He contributed with the Red Bull Music Academy platform for more than a decade, and since 2017 he is General Director of MUTEK Argentina, the Buenos Aires edition of the festival for digital creativity that was created in Montreal and is also held in Mexico City, Barcelona, Tokyo, Dubai, and San Francisco.
