Solo Smith is an emerging bassist, singer-songwriter, and producer. Building on his southern roots, Solo Smith’s music is inspired by feeling. He’s created a multi-layered sound that fuses Pop, R&B, Alternative, Indie Rock and Jazz, with a dreamy soulful undertone. Smith wants listeners to relate to his experiences by capturing them with catchy hooks, experimental ‘bounce bass’ lines and, most importantly, lyrical vulnerability. Solo Smith credits his distinctive sound to the diverse range of artists and musicians he grew up listening to. His influences, along with his own musical education and experience have molded his signature sound.
