Solomon Ray, born in San Diego, California of African-American and Mexican descent, Solomon Ray began recording music in 2008. Singer, songwriter, producer and rapper, Solomon Ray began simply as Solomon. Releasing mixtapes and three independent successful EP's. Adding a last name, Ray reflects, "It's another chapter for me as a musician, so it feels right to elevate that." His new music is a departure from his melodic Pop sounds and into a vibrant genre that pays homage to his Latin roots. Always an upbeat tune, Ray still stays true to his heartfelt lyrics he's used to delivering. His first EP in Spanish, "La Mala Introducción" out now.
