Emerging from a thriving Irish Metal scene, SOMA are forging their own incomparable Post-Metal sound. SOMA are a sonic assault, a complex, atmospheric, visceral and emotional blend of aggression, hope and ambition, just like their home city of Belfast.
SOMA are aiming to build on some extremely well received live shows earning them a place in the Bloodstock Open Air Metal to the Masses Final for Northern Ireland 2025.
Heavily influenced by the likes of Cult of Luna, Alcest, Deftones, Holy Fawn and Oceansize, their songwriting delves deep into dark themes surrounding the decline of society and challenging the current dystopia we find ourselves in.
SOMA released their crushing debut single Absence of Light on 25th April 2025.
