Initially pursuing a more open form of deep house while still in the process of seeking artistic fulfillment, he eventually found his thing and transitioned to a more sophisticated and mature sound, blending groovy, soulful, and grungy soundscapes. And it doesn't stop here: SOMMA is striving to be on the forefront of a cultural movement with his creative collective and label LE YORA (together with JEWELS and YUMA): “LE YORA is a world we’re building that allows us to express ourselves with no boundaries. Everything you see on this brand, whether it’s the music, the artworks, the clothes - it’s all designed by us and us only. We’re songwriters, we’re designers, we’re DJs… we’re creatives of many mediums and this allows us to fill in that grey area between what it means to be a DJ versus to be an artist.”
