Hi! I'm Jon Seale AKA Son of Cloud - a music maker and multi-disciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Inspired by the words of the poet Franz Wright, my latest album is called "We Are Created By Being Destroyed".
I’ve been through more than a few life changes since I released my self titled debut in 2019, (to which I consider this the follow up) and the truths I’ve learned in the process have gone into these songs. Threading the album together is the notion that perhaps birth and death are not opposites after all.
My dream is that these words and melodies will find homes in the hearts of other people who also
need to hear some of the messages I sing to myself. If they do for you, I hope you’ll let me know! Hearing your stories is one of the great joys of sharing this music.
