Sonambulo, the Psicotropical band, was formed in 2006, based in Costa Rica, the band merges Afro, traditional Latin American and modern rhythms with a contemporary sound, predominating among them a blend of urban dance rhythms. Its members come from different parts of Latin America: Costa Rica, Colombia, Cuba and El Salvador.
The discography of Sonámbulo includes "A Puro Peluche", the first full-length album, in 2009. It was awarded by the Costa Rican Association of Musical Authors (ACAM) in 2009 as “Best Tropical Artist” of the year. In 2014, the band released "Psicosonorama", their second LP, thanks to which the band was also awarded by the same association as “Best Latin Fusion” artist of 2014.
In July 2018, its third production "Domitila y su Jardin" is released. The EP is the first volume of a series chapters that shape a musical tale that the band in currently producing.
Sonambulo has participated in all the major festivals of Costa Rica such as the Transitarte, International Festival of Arts (FIA), Imperial Festival, Palmares Festival, SwiCh Festival, Envision Festival, Jungle Jam, Caricaco, BioFestival and others.
