Songchoo Club combines classical songwriting with psychedelic kraut, creating a post-modern musical experience out there to slap you around. The band came into being in Amsterdam in 2015 when Your and Sniet had their first jam with HB. The melodic and landscape sounds of HB brought the energetic and tight rhythm section of Your and Sniet to a whole new level.
Not long after that Lardo joined, bringing some serious songwriting to the jam sessions. Last but not least it was Hans Frans who gave the band it’s perfect sauce. During the years, they played at several venues, like Cinetol, Patronaat, Noorderlicht, Doka and Trix.
Each of the five members have had their solo and side projects, which provides Songchoo Club an immense variety of input and inspiration, giving the band their dynamic and diverse sound. If you are that ‘I liked them better before they were big’ kinda person, hurry up.
