SONIQUE is a young, vibrant and energetic new artist. Her music evokes a spectrum of feelings. SONIQUE’s music journey kicked off when she was eight, when she first picked up a guitar. She has honed her skills and entered the industry as a solo artist. Sonique is not just a performer; she's a passionate creator who finds joy in the process of crafting original music. Her blend of alternative electro pop infused with an edgy twist is undeniably soulfully authentic and inspirational. Her music is not just heard; it is felt, with compositions that are captivating, infectious and energetic.
After releasing ‘Why Are We Still Here’ in July, her first official song to market, Sonique’s song ‘Marinade’ written and produced in collaboration with RADA a humanitarian organization based in SA released on all streaming platforms in August 2024. ‘Marinade’ is SONIQUE’s ‘launch song’ and the official start to an exciting music career, which has included national and international exposure - press, radio and television.
‘Finding Your Way’ SONIQUE’s third release in 2024, followed by a RADA Unearthed co-lab track ‘Together We Are Stronger’ produced by Mark Beling and written by Neil Engel, featuring several talented artists - iSandi, Ramelo, Pedro Barbosa, Lia Elise, Ross Learmonth, SEVVEN, Me-Ko, SeanJ and Mark Beling.

2025 saw the release of ‘My Calling’ exploring a journey of self-discovery, honesty and confidence. And now up next - 'Uncaged' her first ballad.
