This Pittsburgh, PA-born, Chelsea, MA-raised Vietnamese-American songstress is fusing classic R&B with a hint of trap and a dash of pop to give you a playfully intoxicating mix of love, heartbreak, and life-changing inspiration.

Sonni's journey as a singer began very young, but her acceptance into Berklee College of Music's City Music Program truly defined her path. Securing a full scholarship to the prestigious institution, she honed her vocal talents and had the privilege of performing the national anthem and captivating audiences at Boston Celtics games. Sonni's passion for songwriting ignited during her junior year of college, where she embraced the challenge of sharing her story and expressing her heart through music.

In 2016, Sonni unveiled her debut single, "Better," on SoundCloud, a track that quickly gained traction with over 2,000 streams within its first month despite minimal promotional efforts. Building on this promising start, she released her inaugural EP, "Half & Half," in 2019, showcasing her musical evolution. The journey continued with the release of her second EP, "To the Sun & Back," on February 12, 2021, further solidifying her place in music.
