My name is Sophia Rae, I'm a 18 year old debut artist from Nova Scotia, Canada. I have been writing since I was 13, It’s always been a form of therapy. I sang on the Tedx stage at the age of 14 and in that same year got awarded top 100 in a CBC Canada wide competition for my song ‘Truth in Me’. I then began working alongside established artists in my area, developing my writing style and voice as an artist. I have been lucky to have many incredible mentors along the way, Meaghan Smith, Jason Mingo, Jennah Barry and Scott Furgoson to name a few.
